About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our microfinance operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of microfinance products, field operations, and team leadership.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth targets in assigned regions.
• Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and client segments in the microfinance sector.
• Build and manage relationships with customers, partners, and field teams.
• Monitor portfolio performance, loan disbursement, and recovery operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and client servicing.
• Conduct field visits to ensure adherence to operational and compliance standards.
• Prepare and analyze business performance reports and suggest improvement plans.
• Train, motivate, and lead field officers to achieve individual and team goals.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of microfinance operations and regulatory norms
• Analytical thinking and a target-oriented approach
• Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation
• Leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA (Marketing/Finance) from a recognized institution
• Experience in Microfinance, NBFC, or Rural Banking sector
