Mgr-Assistant

As a Manager Assistant at American Express, you will report directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Cloud and play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the leadership team's operating rhythm and delivery of goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Partnering across the organization to define, document, and communicate strategic priorities that shape GI's mission - Tracking the organization's performance against GI's goals and objectives, and communicating progress to leadership regularly - Developing agendas and content for key meetings, events, and site visits - Drafting communications to be sent by members of the GI Executive Office - Hosting regular meetings within GI, tracking minutes and action items, and following up with owners - Collaborating with enterprise partners and other centers of excellence on key initiatives - Supporting annual processes by ensuring completion of talent assessments, performance reviews, and business planning - Developing relationships within the organization to understand colleague engagement and development, proposing recommendations as needed - Enhancing internal capacity by increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures - Taking on stretch assignments as capacity allows To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Excellent organization and planning skills - Ability to influence senior leaders and colleagues to reach common goals - Strong communication skills tailored to various audiences - Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines - Solid business acumen and understanding of large matrixed organizations - Strong attention to detail while prioritizing continuous requests - Creative problem-solving skills and integrity in handling sensitive issues - Self-starter with knowledge of project management and process improvement - Ability to build strong relationships through collaboration, transparency, and delivering on commitments - Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience with an undergraduate degree required Preferred skills include prior experience in Technology.
