Job Description

The Methods Engineer is responsible for defining, improving, and standardizing manufacturing methods to achieve optimal productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This role focuses on process optimization, work measurement, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience : 2 to 4 Years.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and method sheets.
Analyze existing manufacturing methods and recommend improvements for efficiency, ergonomics, and quality.
Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and workflow optimization.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing methods and layouts.
Identify and implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve process issues.
Support cost reduction initiatives through method optimization and waste elimination.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Train production teams on new or revised methods.
