Job Title: Deputy Engineer - Quality Assurance Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Metallurgical Engineer to join our Heat Treatment and Mechanical Testing team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of heat treatment processes, mechanical testing, and lab management. Responsibilities: Setup and preparation for each heat treatment batch. Ensure timely inspection by completing all inspection parameters to avoid dispatch delays. Independently monitor and control process parameters for all types of furnaces: Continuous, Batch, Bell, and Pit type without the involvement of HT specialists. Maintain all metallurgical and mechanical testing equipment in fully functional condition at all times. Oversee 24x7 laboratory (inspection) operations with support from inspectors. Ensure all sample preparation equipment is in proper working condition. Implement and maintain 5S practices in laboratory and sample preparation areas. Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues in coordination with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT). Train new operators in cold forging and rolling machine operations. Maintain control over non-conforming heat-treated products. Ensure timely calibration, proper handling, and maintenance of all testing and measuring devices.
