About the Role: Title: Visual Factory MES – Functional Consultant Location: Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore/Noida Educational Background: Professional Degree Responsibilities: Requirements gathering, analysis & functional process flow understanding of the applications/domains Design, document the understanding & develop prioritized project plan with technical team Understand & define OT - IT interfaces with respective technical lead Monitor MES system performance and recommend improvements Create and maintain technical documentation Collaborate with internal & offshore teams to ensure MES solutions meet business requirements Qualifications: 4-7 Years in Visual Factory MES or any other MES platform Implementations for Manufacturing Shop Floor Required Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or C# & SQL) and MES platform (Visual Factory MES https://www.nomuda.com/digital-manufacturing-software) Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems (DBMS) like MySQL or SQL Server is important for handling the data within the MES Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is useful since Visual Factory often involves web-based interfaces and dashboards Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will help in understanding the integration and workflow processes Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and automation protocols can be crucial, as Visual Factory integrates with various hardware and sensors on the shop floor Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices is beneficial for optimizing processes and reducing waste, which is a core focus of Visual Factory Skills in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces to ensure that operators can easily follow digital work instructions Ability to analyze data and generate reports to monitor and improve manufacturing processes Familiarity with cloud services and data security, as Visual Factory can be hosted on the cloud Show more Show less
