Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented MEP Engineer with a degree of MEP Engineering to oversee and coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works for turnkey projects. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring design compliance, site execution, quality control, and coordination between multiple disciplines to deliver projects within time, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Supervise MEP works on-site (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV).
• Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, procurement, and site execution teams for seamless project delivery.
• Ensure alignment of MEP services with architectural and interior finishes.
• Monitor subcontractors/vendors to ensure work is executed as per standards.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, international standards, and safety norms.
• Ensure correct installation of services (HVAC ducts, cabling, piping, fire suppression, etc.) without clashes.
• Verify material quality, testing, and approvals before installation.

Project Planning & Monitoring

• Assist in preparing project schedules, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
• Raise RFIs (Request for Information) for design discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports.
• Support project manager in cost control and variation claims.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction

• Attend site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
• Provide technical support and suggest value-engineering solutions.
• Handle site-related queries and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• 3–7 years (for mid-level) / 7+ years (for senior level) in interior fit-out / turnkey projects with strong exposure to MEP coordination.

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Project / Primavera.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, ELV systems, plumbing, fire-fighting, and interior finishes.
• Knowledge of MEP standards, IS codes, NBC, and international practices.
• Hands-on experience in shop drawing review, site execution, and QA/QC procedures.
