MEP Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced MEP Site Engineer to handle on-site execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for interior and design-build projects in Ahmedabad. The role requires strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality installations as per design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

● Supervise day-to-day MEP activities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.

● Execute work strictly as per MEP drawings, layouts, and project specifications.

● Coordinate with civil/interior teams and ensure seamless integration with overall site progress.

● Manage MEP contractors, technicians, and labor at the site.

● Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality installations and adherence to safety standards.

● Track material requirements and ensure timely availability on-site.

● Identify and resolve site-level technical issues quickly and efficiently.

● Prepare and share daily/weekly progress reports with the project/design team.

● Assist with testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.

Requirements:

● Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

● 4–5 years of relevant experience in MEP execution on interior or construction projects.

● Strong understanding of electrical layouts, plumbing systems, HVAC routing, and fire safety systems.

● Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.

● Good communication and coordination skills with vendors, contractors, and project teams.

● Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office preferred. Preferred Skills:

● Experience working with design firms or interior fit-out companies.

● Strong problem-solving ability and site management skills.

● Understanding of materials, installation standards, and safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
