MEP Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled MEP Engineer to manage and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at a civil construction site. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEP systems are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with project specifications, timelines, and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise MEP works at the site in coordination with civil teams.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for timely delivery and execution.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.
• Conduct inspections and ensure proper documentation of MEP works.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Assist in the procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
  

Preferred candidate

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with IS codes and relevant international standards.
• Good understanding of site safety and quality protocols.
• Strong coordination, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of site experience in infrastructure or large-scale civil construction projects.
• Experience in government or industrial projects (preferred).
  

compensation and benefits

• Monthly CTC: ₹60,000

Additional benefits as per company norms after probation.
