Role Overview

Medical Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hospital operations and patient safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with NABH, CGHS, Ayushman Bharat, and other regulatory standards
• Coordinate with department heads and medical staff for efficient service delivery
• Develop, implement, and monitor hospital policies and SOPs
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and audits
• Manage medical manpower, rosters, and grievance redressal
• Act as the principal liaison between hospital management and clinical teams

Qualifications & Skills

✔️ MBBS with MD/MHA in Hospital Administration/Equivalent

✔️ Minimum 5-10 years of hospital/healthcare management experience

✔️ Prior experience as a Medical Superintendent or equivalent leadership role is highly desirable

✔️ Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, medico-legal aspects & quality standards

✔️ Excellent communication, leadership, and crisis-management skills

✔️ Proficiency in hospital management systems/software
