Key Responsibilities
1. Product Promotion & Sales
Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare staff.
Deliver effective product presentations and scientific information to drive prescriptions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Territory Management
Plan daily calls and maintain a structured route plan for the territory.
Visit clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies regularly as per company norms.
Maintain and update customer databases.
3. Relationship Building
Develop strong, long-term relationships with HCPs.
Build rapport with key opinion leaders (KOLs) for brand advocacy.
Handle customer queries and provide after-sales service.
4. Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, product launches, and market trends.
Collect and communicate field insights to the management team.
Suggest strategies to improve product market share.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily call reports (DCR), activity reports, and sales data.
Maintain records of samples, promotional materials, and expenses.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree
Experience
1- 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales (freshers can apply).
Experience in a similar therapeutic area is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
Good scientific understanding and quick learning ability.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and disciplined.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
