Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Billing Specialist located in Ahmedabad. The Medical Billing Specialist will handle daily tasks such as coding patient services, preparing and sending out claims to insurance companies, monitoring and following up on claims, processing patient payments, and ensuring the accuracy of billing information. They will also be responsible for communicating with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and coding
• Knowledge of insurance companies and their billing requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling billing information
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Certification in Medical Billing or a related field is a plus
• Experience in healthcare administration is beneficial
