Job Description

As a D2C Media Buyer, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns primarily on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads platforms to drive customer acquisition, revenue, and profitable growth for our D2C brand. You will be a key player in managing significant advertising budgets, analyzing performance data, and identifying new opportunities to maximize our Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


Campaign Strategy & Planning:


Develop and implement data-driven paid media strategies for Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network) and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube) that align with D2C business objectives (e.g., ROAS, CAC, AOV, LTV).


Conduct in-depth audience research, competitive analysis, and keyword research to identify targeting opportunities and inform campaign structure.


Work closely with the marketing team to align media strategies with overall brand campaigns, product launches, and promotional calendars.


Campaign Execution & Optimization:


Set up, launch, and manage campaigns, ad sets/ad groups, and ads across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms.


Continuously monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and implement daily optimizations to bids, budgets, targeting, ad copy, and creative to improve key metrics.


Perform A/B testing on various elements including ad creatives, headlines, descriptions, calls-to-action, and landing pages to identify winning combinations.


Manage and allocate significant advertising budgets effectively to achieve maximum ROI.


Implement retargeting and remarketing strategies to nurture leads and convert high-intent users.


Performance Analysis & Reporting:


Analyze campaign data rigorously using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other relevant attribution tools.


Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key insights, trends, and actionable recommendations for improvement.


Communicate campaign performance and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders.


Forecast campaign performance and budget requirements based on historical data and market trends.


Creative & Landing Page Collaboration:


Collaborate with the creative team to develop high-performing ad creatives (static images, videos, carousels) and compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences.


Provide data-backed feedback to the creative team on ad performance and recommend creative iterations.


Work with the web development/product team to ensure landing pages are optimized for conversions and provide a seamless user experience.


Market & Platform Expertise:


Stay up-to-date with the latest updates, features, and best practices on Meta and Google advertising platforms.


Research and evaluate new advertising formats, targeting options, and testing methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.


Monitor competitor advertising activities and identify opportunities or threats.
