Requirements:

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Experience of Hand in working on Big and Medium Data Centre and Industrial Sector project.
• Basically 5 to 6 years of experience in a similar role for Mechanical Design of large-scale project.
• Ensuring mechanical systems meet design intent and standards.
• Ability to prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and understanding of timelines, dependencies, and milestones for Project Deliverables.

·      Ability to work on time schedule (Tight deadlines) to achieve the Project Deliverables.

• Ability to prioritise own workload to meet the project target as part of the Team.
• Responsible for Design Software such as HAP, Carrier E20-II, TRACE 700 or equivalent. Design of service for the entire project
• Fire Suppression & Safety Systems - Familiarity with FM200, Novec 1230, NFPA standards.

·      Experience with advanced cooling systems in Data Centers

·      Familiarity with Indian engineering regulations.

• Very good proactive communicator and co-ordinator within the Team.
• Review and Monitoring Design concept for Project Deliverable along with Technical Specification.
• Attend in daily, weekly, monthly progress and planning meetings and providing the required inputs.
• Good communication and co-ordination skills.

Key Activities:

• Attend client meeting for regular project update.
• Develop concept and detailed design of mechanical services and associated controls.
• Mechanical Systems in Data Centers / Industrial Facilities – CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumps, ductwork, containment strategies.
• AutoCAD / Revit / BIM – For creating and reviewing mechanical layouts.
• Produce Schematics, specifications, calculations, equipment schedules and reports to meet the project requirement.
• Coordinate your designs with the other disciplines within the team.
• Maintain a commercial awareness of projects.
• HVAC Design & Analysis – Ability to size, select, and optimize heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
• Proficient with ASHRAE – Thermal guidelines for data processing environments & NFPA – Fire safety codes.
• Carrying out technical reviews of contractor’s technical submissions, working drawings and samples.
• Experience with large scale cooling and HVAC systems
• The role will be primarily office based but will involve some Vendor and site meeting.
• Experience in Hyperscale & Co-location design across the data centre Sector
• Experience in developing layout and Schematic for mechanical and firefighting service.
• ability to perform on mix and cross-disciplinary project with collaboration skills.
