Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative designs, creating detailed technical drawings, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to reality. You’ll be involved from initial concept through to manufacturing and final implementation, ensuring that all designs meet required specifications, budgets, and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Develop and design mechanical, electrical, or product components based on specifications. Create and modify 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.). Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and engineering analyses. Collaborate with product managers, manufacturing teams, and other engineers to ensure design viability and functionality. Review and improve existing designs for performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements. Support prototype development and testing. Prepare and maintain design documentation and records. Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for innovation and improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. Proven experience in a design engineering role (typically 2+ years). Proficient in CAD software and engineering analysis tools. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles. Excellent problem-solving, creativity, and project management skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, ASME, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or advanced certification in design/engineering. Experience in [industry-specific software or sector, e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices]. Hands-on experience with prototyping, CNC, or 3D printing.
