Manufacturing Experience Required: 2–5 year's
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field

Job Summary:

• The Automation Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for automated machinery and industrial equipment. This role involves creating 3D models, detailed drawings, costing and BOMs while working closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, and manufacturing to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for automation systems (fixtures, conveyors, robotic cells, special-purpose machines, etc.)
• Develop 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, costing and BOMs using software such as SolidWorks
• Perform mechanical calculations (torque, stress, load, tolerance stack-up) as needed.
• Collaborate with electrical and control teams to ensure system integration.
• Participate in design reviews, feasibility studies, and DFMEA processes.
• Support manufacturing during machine build and testing.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.
• Provide technical documentation including manuals, assembly instructions, and maintenance guidelines.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals and automation principles.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and actuator-based systems.
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Proficient in any 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Autodesk Inventor, Creo).
• Working knowledge of sensors, robotics, and motion components is a plus.
• Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
