Role Overview :

Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC Systems)

Key Responsibilities

• Design

  3D CAD models

  for plastic injection molded HVAC parts using

  CATIA V5 R24

  .
• Create part designs using constrained sketches and Boolean operations (Inner/Outer methodology).
• Work in

  product structures

  using

  multi-skeleton methodology

  .
• Develop detailed HVAC parts following

  DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

  and

  DFA (Design for Assembly)

  principles.
• Prepare technical proposals, design documentation, and presentations.
• Generate detailed

  engineering drawings

  with

  GD&T

  , considering manufacturing processes and measurement methods.
• Perform

  tolerance stack-up analysis

  for critical components.
• Conduct

  self-checks

  to ensure CAD quality and fix DFM/DFA-related issues.
• Carry out

  vehicle packaging studies

  and design modifications.
• Manage design data in

  PLM systems

  and ensure timely project delivery within budget.
