Mechanical Designer – Sheet Metal (Kharagpur) Company: ANIPL (Anigroup) Location: Kharagpur, West Bengal Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month Role Summary: ANIPL is seeking a capable Mechanical Designer experienced in sheet metal design and fabrication. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in interpreting mechanical drawings, creating manufacturing-ready designs, and effectively utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and modify detailed mechanical drawings for sheet metal components and assemblies. Develop accurate 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with standards. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize designs for functionality, cost efficiency, and quality. Provide technical support throughout the manufacturing process—cutting, bending, welding, and assembly. Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions. Adhere to industry requirements and safety protocols in all designs. Requirements: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal manufacturing (cutting, bending, assembly, welding). Deep knowledge of mechanical drawings for sheet metal. Advanced user of AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D) for sheet metal, solid modeling, assembly, and drafting. Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
