Job Profile : Design and development of Special purpose Assembly Automation systems and Testing systems. Validating & arriving at the concepts for designing the above systems. Examine the technical specification/RFQ to determine the procedures, objectives, test specifications, etc. Conversion of the design concepts into 3D cad model. Perform engineering calculations with respect to Strength of materials, Speed, pressure & force and for selection of various standard elements for machines/automation systems. Produce detail drawings with bills of materials for equipment, subassemblies or product. Conversion of 3d CAD model into 2d drawings and release it for manufacturing. Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, proper machining processes, surface finish, hardness, etc. Preparing and organizing design documentation, obtain quotation from suppliers, preparing Bill of Materials, test charts and Machine Manuals etc. Liaise with vendor / purchase team during manufacturing & procurement stage. Liaise with execution team during assembly, testing and machine qualification stage.
