Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Mechanical Design Engineer

to support the implementation and improvement of fabrication and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tool and die design, manufacturing methods, and process optimization. This role plays a critical part in designing, testing, and enhancing manufacturing systems to ensure productivity, quality, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities

Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality, cost, efficiency, and speed
Design, develop, and test automated and manual manufacturing systems
Design and assist in installation of manufacturing equipment as per production needs
Conduct mold and tooling design reviews with engineering, operations, and quality teams
Plan and manage manufacturing workflows and resources
Integrate systems such as material handling and equipment movement
Optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations
Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks
Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards
Train production staff on new and existing fabrication processes
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth execution
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Support upgrades and adoption of new technologies and innovations

Requirements & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering
Strong knowledge of tool and die design and fabrication processes
Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and quality control techniques
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and MS Office tools
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to work extended or late shifts when required
