  • Implement and drive sepsis protocols, early goal‑directed therapy, and evidence‑based critical care bundles to reduce morbidity and mortality.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (anaesthesia, surgery, cardiology, radiology, nursing) for seamless handovers, ICU admissions, and step-down planning.
  • Develop clinical protocols, participate in morbidity & mortality reviews, mentor trainees, and contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or MD/DNB/DM in Critical Care (or equivalent); valid Indian medical registration.
  • Proven experience managing high-acuity ED and ICU patients with independent decision-making in emergency resuscitations.
  • Clinical competencies: rapid sequence intubation, mechanical ventilation management, central venous and arterial line insertion, vasopressor/inotrope management, and sepsis bundle implementation.
  • Certifications and clinical tools: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and proficiency in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) for emergency/critical care.

Preferred

  • Fellowship or additional training in Critical Care Medicine or Emergency Ultrasound; ECMO exposure is a plus.
  • Experience in clinical teaching, protocol development, audit, and academic publications in emergency or critical care.

Benefits & Culture Highlights

  • On-site leadership role with competitive compensation and shift-based scheduling to support work-life balance.
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary teams, structured CME, and opportunities for teaching and research.
