About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead inpatient and outpatient Internal Medicine consults, delivering accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Manage medical emergencies, sepsis, and multi-organ disorders, collaborating with ICU and surgical teams.
• Supervise junior residents, nurses, and RMO staff; ensure adherence to clinical pathways and NABH standards.
• Interpret laboratory, radiology, and ECG results, initiating timely interventions and specialist referrals.
• Drive family counselling, discharge planning, and chronic-disease management programs for continuity of care.
• Contribute to morbidity reviews, CME sessions, and protocol development to elevate clinical quality.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• MD/DNB in General / Internal Medicine with valid MCI/State registration.
• 5+ years post-PG experience in tertiary or large secondary hospitals.
• Proficiency in managing acute cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic emergencies.
• Hands-on experience with ventilator management, central lines, and advanced life support.
• Fluency in electronic health record documentation and prescription systems.
  

Preferred

• Exposure to infectious-disease stewardship or hospitalist medicine models.
• Participation in quality-improvement projects or clinical research.
