Inspect and verify incoming raw materials and bought-out components (FRP, timber, RCC, fans, motors, gearboxes, fills, drift eliminators, etc.) against specifications.
Perform in-process inspections during fabrication, assembly, and erection stages. Carry out final inspection of cooling towers before dispatch and ensure compliance with drawings, quality plans, and client requirements. Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), quality checklists, NCR reports, and other QC documentation. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues. Ensure adherence to ISO / CTI / ASME / IS standards relevant to cooling towers. Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for defects. Conduct stage-wise quality audits and participate in client / third-party inspections. Support continuous improvement and help develop standard QC procedures.
