Job Description

Manager Marketing / Tendering

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit tenders for

    EHV transmission lines, EHV grid substations, and state transmission utilities

    (MSETCL, PGCIL, etc.).
  • Track and manage submitted tenders and initiate the follow-up process to maximize conversion.
  • Review bids for EHV/LV/HV electrical works, power transmission lines, grid substations, and Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical packages for solar, wind, and hydro power projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and government bodies to ensure inclusion in pre-qualification criteria and tender lists.
  • Attend pre-bid, client, and consultant meetings to represent the company and gather insights.
  • Conduct pre-bid and post-bid analysis, and support media/marketing initiatives to enhance business opportunities.
  • Liaise with state and central utilities, and identify new business opportunities in the energy sector.
  • Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to manage the post-tender clarification process.
  • Conduct estimation and cost analysis to support tendering decisions.
  • Maintain a strong professional network and ensure effective internal communication with senior management and teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    Graduate in Electrical Engineering (preferred) / MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience:

    Proven track record in

    tendering and business development

    for power transmission and substation projects (minimum 58 years).
  • Strong knowledge of

    EHV transmission, substations, and tendering processes

    with utilities like MSETCL, PGCIL, and other state/central authorities.
  • Excellent

    business development, negotiation, and presentation skills

    .
  • Ability to identify and capture new opportunities in the energy and infrastructure sector.
  • Strong analytical, estimation, and cost analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to meet targets.

Proven track record of meeting business and tendering targets in previous roles is mandatory.
