Role Specifics - Day in the Life

This is what the candidate will do daily. Candidates should read this


  1. Responsible for running Acquisition Campaigns on performance channels like Google, Facebook, etc:

  2. The core ownerships areas will be:
  3. Strategy:

    Work with team to determine is clear strategy for Paid Acquisition
  4. Creative + Messaging:

    Work with creative team to design the messaging, content and creative angle for the ads
  5. Perfect Funnel:

    Work with teams to determine the whole funnel - Ads, Ads message, creative and landing pages
  6. Execution:

    Setup the Ads
  7. Monitoring on campaign impact:

    Daily monitoring and optimizing of the campaigns - win an inch everyday attitude. Tweak creatives, tweak spends, budgets, bids etc etc
  8. Date obsession:

    Review the data daily to ensure we are meeting ROI goals.
  9. Scale:

    Build for scale - be able to take the strategy and scale it
  10. Own remarketing strategy via Google + Facebook + Other channels:

  11. The core ownerships areas will be:
  12. Strategy:

    Co-own the strategy for remarketing. Which segments to targets, budgets etc
  13. Creative + Messaging:

    Work with creative team to design the messaging, content and creative angle for the remarketing ads
  14. Perfect Funnel:

    Work with teams to determine the whole remarketing funnel - Ads, Ads message, creative and landing pages
  15. Execution:

    Setup the Ads
  16. Monitoring on campaign impact:

    Daily monitoring and optimizing of the campaigns - win an inch everyday attitude
  17. Date obsession:

    Review the data daily to ensure remarketing strategy is yielding the objectives
  18. Explore other Growth initiatives

  19. There can be many other growth opportunities to explore. Being able to find new opportunities will be very important in this role


Must have skills

  1. Should be able to demonstrate real experience in running profitable and ROI driven Acquisition campaigns on Google and Facebook

  2. The candidate should be able to talk in detail
  3. - Strategy for campaign
  4. - Creative process
  5. - How was ROI measured
  6. - Data they were looking at
  7. - Scale of the campaign


2. Strong in thinking about marketing and acquisition strategy:

The candidate should be able to talk about the marketing plan, positioning of the brand, the message to users


3. Should be able own the remarketing process

The candidate should be able to talk about what they are doing for remarketing


4. Data Obsessive

The right candidate needs to be data obsessive
