Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and in-person meetings. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations. Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients products/services and identify the geographic concentration of their target customer base. Present company offerings and tailored proposals during client meetings, effectively addressing any queries or objections. Proactively generate qualified sales inquiries for the companys wide range of security equipment solutions. Convince potential clients to select company products through consultative and value-based selling techniques. Generate and manage leads, maintaining consistent follow-ups with prospects and clients. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and channel partner developments. Identify opportunities for business expansion and market penetration. Ensure consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Maintain and update a comprehensive client database from multiple sources. Drive tender participation and submission processes for government projects, including defense, public sector, and airport tenders. Handle end-to-end Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal operations—vendor registration, catalog management, bidding, and order fulfillment. Lead documentation, coordination, and submission for large-scale government tenders, with special focus on airport security equipment tenders. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, and finance) to ensure timely and compliant proposal submissions. Preferred candidate profile MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development. Minimum 7+ years of proven experience in sales & marketing of security equipment such as access control systems, entrance control, x-ray baggage scanners, and screening solutions. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal operations. Demonstrated expertise in government tendering , including tender search, bid preparation, documentation, submission, and compliance. Experience working on airport tenders and liaising with airport authorities or AAI (Airports Authority of India) is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets consistently. Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRM software, and tender management platforms.
