We are looking for a high-performing Market Manager based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to coordinate and drive the growth in sales of our complete Grid Automation portfolio of products, systems and services in Egypt. This will include Substation Automation & Communication, BESS and Enterprise Software solutions for mission critical infrastructure and power utilities. You will be reporting to the EUS Africa and RoW Manager (based in Switzerland) and you will be driving the sales and market share growth in Bangladesh. You will effectively apply the sales related tools to capture opportunities, manage customers (partners and end-users) relationships, improve internal communications, and increase sales efficiency based on your knowledge of the market, customers, competitors, and Hitachi Energy installed. Responsibilities Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs related to Power, Oil & Gas and Transportation sectors. Promoting customer understanding of full Grid Automation offering Responsibility for developing and managing all business aspects related to your allocated markets. Develops business strategies and sales and marketing plans in partnership with Hitachi Energy sales and marketing team in Hub Europe. Participates in the budgeting process and prepares the local demand budget. Maintain excellent relationship with key players in the allocated market – End Customers, EPCs, Hitachi Energy Companies, Front End Sales e.g. Gather market information to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategies. Lead contract negotiations with customers on technical & commercial aspects with the support of project management, legal & commercial experts as needed. Coordinate and implement together with Product Managers, the introduction of new technology / systems in the markets. Requirement Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering combined with at least 10 years’ experience in sales and business development. 10+ years of experience in sales within the Power, Oil & Gas and/or Railway sector. Deep knowledge of Substation Automation, Communication for mission critical infrastructure and power utilities. Knowledge of SCADA, BESS and Enterprise Software solutions is an advantage. Mind for identifying new business opportunities, great intercultural skills combined with a diplomatic way of negotiating and closing business deals.
