Overall Purpose of The Job

Assisting Marine Benefits Manager in administering the Benefit Schemes for Senior Officers

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Under guidance of Marine Benefits Manager, arrange for enrollments of eligible seafarers and their dependants in the medical insurance scheme and removal of ineligible seafarers.
• Run regular reports in ShipSure to identify seafarers eligible for the benefit scheme, those who are on vacation and those who have left company.
• Check for seafarers whose eligible vacation period has expired on a regular basis for each crewing office and advise for cancellation of the benefits.
• Keep track of eligible vacation period of Ukrainian seafarers enrolled in medical scheme under ITF to advise for cancellation.
• Maintain and update all data relating to benefits memberships of seafarers in ShipSure and in Membership list.
• Any other matters as may be required by the Manager for the efficient management of the benefit schemes.
