The position is part of the Manufacturing Operations team and will be based on-site in Pune, reporting to the Engineering Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes and tooling for filtration components, including metallic and polymeric media.
- Collaborate with Desing Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Operations to transition new products from concept to full-scale production.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to ensure scalable, efficient, and cost-effective production.
- Actively contribute to the planning, execution, and commissioning of the new manufacturing facility.
- Ensure technical readiness and alignment of manufacturing capabilities with plant goals.
- Conduct and support process validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for new line.
- Ensure adherence to EHS, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Monitor process performance and drive improvements in yield, cycle time, and reliability.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical / Industrial or related), with relevant experience of 6-8 yrs.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in filtration or related technologies.
- Strong design engineering background with hands-on experience in process development and tooling.
- Proven track record in technology transfer and new site implementation.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
