Manufacturing Director - FAB

Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication :

Leader/ Director of Fab Manufacturing Operations & Production Control :

• Minimum 10+ years of working experience in Fab Manufacturing operations and /or Production control teams .
• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Lead the Manufacturing team in terms of real time dispatcher and managing lot priority according to customer requirements .
• Familiar with Cycle time management , WIP balancing , understanding Overall Equipment Efficiency and optimum fab utilization levels.
• Control the production schedule, delivery date and output, and increase production capacity.
• Responsible for planning and directing Fab activities related to product manufacturing and full automation environments in a semiconductor Fab.
• Work on cost Reduction programs with production modules to improve Fab utilization and OEE .
• Work with Industrial Engineering on Fab layout related topics to improve the Fabout by optimization of layout.
• Lead functional teams driving APC, FDC , SPC and process mapping as a part of operational yield and quality improvement
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, automation, and process enhancements.
• Draft and release equipment PM procedures, CM guide, OCAP fan outs.
• EHS, QM, ESD, 6S standard and cleanroom protocol.
• Maintain optimum utilization of equipment, constantly review OEE management, reduce tool downtime and increase equipment throughput with Safety and Quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science, device physics.
• Direct wafer Fab Experience with >10 years expertise in Manufacturing operations and production control teams.
• Strong knowledge of Real time dispatcher ( Scheduling) ,WIP balancing , AMHS and Wafer start .
• Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies for equipment performance optimization, tool matching, yield improvement, sustainability management projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of APC/FDC/SPC systems is an added advantage.

Work Model

• This role is not a remote work. The location would be on-site in Dholera, Gujarat, India with travel overseas as necessary.
