Job Description

Role Overview: As a Leader/ Director of Fab Manufacturing Operations & Production Control, you will be responsible for leading a team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment. Your role will involve managing real-time dispatch, lot priorities, cycle time, WIP balancing, and overall equipment efficiency to ensure optimum fab utilization levels. Additionally, you will be in charge of controlling the production schedule, delivery date, output, and increasing production capacity. Your contribution will be crucial in planning and directing Fab activities related to product manufacturing and full automation environments in a semiconductor Fab. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship. - Manage real-time dispatcher and lot priorities based on customer requirements. - Monitor cycle time, WIP balancing, and overall equipment efficiency for optimum fab utilization. - Control production schedule, delivery date, output, and increase production capacity. - Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on Fab layout optimization. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment upgrades, automation, and process enhancements. - Implement EHS, QM, ESD, 6S standards, and cleanroom protocols. - Draft and release equipment PM procedures, CM guide, OCAP fan outs. - Work on cost reduction programs to improve Fab utilization and OEE. - Lead functional teams in driving APC, FDC, SPC, and process mapping for operational yield and quality improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters Degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science, or device physics. - Over 10 years of direct wafer Fab experience in Manufacturing operations and production control teams. - Proficiency in real-time dispatcher, WIP balancing, AMHS, and Wafer start. - Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies for equipment performance optimization. - Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of APC, FDC, SPC systems is an added advantage.
