Vector Consulting Group has a software development team which specializes in Product Development. Our team is highly experienced in the various stages of software development life cycle. Our Products are deployed at leading enterprises across India in Retail, Consumer Products, Automobile, Textile, Engineering and Construction domains. Skills and Qualifications: • Testing Tools : Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center, or similar test management tools. • Technical Skills : Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing. • Attention to Detail : Strong ability to identify issues and inconsistencies within software functionality. • Analytical Thinking : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about testing scenarios. • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document defects and collaborate effectively with team members. • Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum development environment. • Methodologies : Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and testing life cycles (STLC). Key Responsibilities: Test Execution: Perform manual testing on web applications, ensuring they meet functional, business requirements. Test Case Design : Create, review, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on functional and business requirements. Bug Reporting : Identify, document, and track defects/bugs using test management tools. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues. Regression Testing : Conduct regression testing during each release cycle to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) : Participate in UAT and assist stakeholders in understanding test results. Test Documentation : Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, cases, and results. Provide regular reports on testing progress and outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met. Continuous Improvement : Participate in retrospectives to improve testing processes and methodologies. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manual testing with a proven ability to design and execute test cases. Education: UG : B.Tech/B.E./ B.Sc/ BCA in Any Specialization PG : M.Tech /MS/M.Sc(Science)/MCA in Any Specialisation Job Location: Thane.
