Responsible to manage the Air Freight Operations for South India and satellite offices for Healthcare vertical.
Effectively managing and overall accountable for the performance of the Air Freight department with the team of eleven staff members. Form sales & marketing strategies for Branch & Corporate Sales force to accomplish the budget and given growth targets. Responsible for appropriate staffing in the department and to drive future-oriented workforce planning, in line with productivity targets. Administrative & functional responsibility of Airfreight team by monitoring the carrier performance, better negotiations, customer retention / relationships. Successfully maintained strong business relationship with Airlines, custodian / ground handling agencies and performed better procurement.
Rate Procurement and negotiation with Carrier, overseas & Customers • Vendor Management • Maintaining Carrier relationship & Capacity management • Business development • Carrier Claim Management. Ensure performance for critical business (Pharma )
Candidates having strong knowledge in Air Freight Operations would be considered.
