Job Title: Geo Lead- Partners Engagement, Mobile Engineering Services

Position Summary: The Geo Lead- Partners Engagement of Mobile Engineering Services is responsible for leading and managing the vendor partners for all mobile engineering-related services within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement processes for engineering services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for mobile engineering services aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of mobile engineering service providers and consultants.
3. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal value and performance.
4. Manage and optimize the procurement process for mobile engineering services, including request for proposals (RFPs), bidding, and contract award procedures.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations & solutions teams, to understand service requirements and ensure procurement activities meet their needs.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers in the engineering sector.
7. Monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
9. Implement and maintain procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
10. Manage and develop the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
11. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and key metrics to senior management.
12. Collaborate with finance and legal departments to manage contractual risks and ensure financial compliance.
13. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management. MBA or relevant masters degree preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in engineering or technical services procurement.
3. Strong understanding of engineering services and the ability to evaluate technical specifications and requirements.
4. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing complex contracts.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Proficient in procurement software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
9. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in procurement.
10. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
