Min Experience: 3 yearsLocation: BangaloreJobType: full-timeThe Manager - Technical Sales Engineer will be fully responsible for leading Technical Sales and Project Management activities for assigned regions and customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project execution expertise, and the ability to convert market opportunities into successful business outcomes. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end customer engagement — from initial requirement analysis to proposal development, costing, delivery, and project closure — while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of Technical Sales and Project Management for assigned projects, ensuring successful execution from initial inquiry to SAT and final handover.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, manage customer communication, schedule requirement discussions, and define scope aligned with costing and solution clarity.
  • Develop winning business strategies by standardizing product offerings in coordination with product development teams.
  • Create and implement annual and quarterly sales plans for assigned territories, working closely with the regional sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage customer technical discussions, expectations, and solution alignment to ensure accurate proposals and concept clarity.
  • Identify key market opportunities, perform application analysis, and strategize to convert qualified leads into confirmed orders.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals including system concept, cost estimation, price strategy, and complete documentation.
  • Oversee project costing, kick-off, FAT/SAT execution, and monitor project delivery across Q-C-D (Quality, Cost, Delivery) parameters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers, strategic partners, and material suppliers to maximize business potential.
  • Drive customer outreach initiatives such as technology days, demonstrations, or technical workshops.
  • Conduct market and industry research to develop effective sales strategies and showcase solutions to prospective clients.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional team (CFT) meetings to ensure smooth communication, proper process adherence, and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure execution of design modifications and engineering changes during and after assembly, FAT, or SAT.
