We’re looking for a hands-on social media leader who’s done this before: scaled brand channels, built creator programs, obsessed over trends, driven storytelling through content, and built real community. This isn’t just a copywriting role — this is about shaping how Alike is discovered, loved, and talked online. You’ll work closely with marketing, design, partnerships, and product to build a high-performing, high-emotion social and creator ecosystem. From snackable videos to strategic campaigns, creator collaborations to live takeovers — you're the voice, the vibe, and the vision behind it all.
• Own and scale Alike’s presence across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Tiktok and other emerging channels.
• Drive strategy, content calendars, and campaign rollouts that balance brand building with performance.
• Write thumb-stopping copy for social media posts, reels, ad campaigns, video scripts, and founder-led content.
• Write persuasive ad copy and social captions that convert attention into action.
• Create and manage a healthy mix of reels, carousels, static posts, UGC, and community-first content.
• Build and manage a pipeline of nano and micro creators who genuinely love travel.
• Develop and lead the “Creator Circle” for Alike: a trusted crew of voices that co-create content.
• Spot trends early and translate them into actionable content ideas for the brand.
• Plan collaborations, giveaways, shoutouts, co-branded posts, and live travel takeovers.
• Host or guide live content, interviews, or founder features.
• Collaborate with video, design, and content teams to bring ideas to life.
• Use insights, data, and intuition to optimise content and social performance.
• Edit, proof, and polish all written materials for clarity and alignment to brand tone.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation.
• Strong understanding of the creator economy, social trends, and storytelling formats.
• Experience in travel, D2C, lifestyle, or culturally led consumer brands.
• Excellent writing skills — from ad copy to short-form content to community captions.
• Ability to scale content strategies that drive both reach and meaningful engagement.
• Comfortable managing creators, influencers, and live social interactions.
• A sharp creative eye and collaborative spirit.
• Data-aware but audience-first approach to social strategy.
