Job Description – SAP WMS & Digital Transformation LeadPurpose of the RoleThis role is established to oversee and optimize the current operations and systems of SAP WMS within the organization, while driving the integration of innovative technology solutions such as AI, blockchain, and other digital advancements into logistics activities. The primary objective is to transform traditional manual logistics processes into streamlined, cutting-edge digital workflows—enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and overall business performance. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the effective functioning and optimization of SAP WMS systems and processes within logistics. Streamline logistics operations by deploying digital tools, automation, and advanced technologies. Collaborate with regional and global HQ teams to implement global logistics initiatives. Drive techno-functional improvements, embedding digital solutions into core business processes. Replace manual warehouse processes with digital-first workflows. Lead discussions and implementation of digital solution initiatives across logistics operations. Execute proactive improvement projects and process re-engineering. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and technologies. Conduct risk and cost analysis to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors. Perform due diligence and gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Develop and execute strategic plans for digital transformation within logistics. Desired Candidate ProfileExperience 10–14 years of experience in SAP WMS operations, with expertise in SD, MM, and QM modules. Proven track record in implementing SAP WMS and other digital solutions within logistics. Leadership Demonstrated ability to lead SAP WMS implementation projects and digital transformation initiatives. Business Process Knowledge Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in Warehouse Management, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management. Techno-Functional Expertise Hands-on experience as a Business Process Analyst with the ability to manage the full project lifecycle, including: Requirement Gathering AP Analysis Creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRD) Agile Development Practices User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Documentation & Training Continuous Learning Strong eagerness to stay updated with emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, automation, etc.) and apply them to logistics operations.
