Role & responsibilities Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager Export Sales (Aroma Chemicals) Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Pune / Mumbai Reporting To: Head – International Business / Managing Director CTC: As per experience and industry norms Job Purpose: To manage and expand the international sales of aroma chemicals by identifying potential overseas markets, developing new customers, maintaining existing relationships, and achieving export targets while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Key Responsibilities: International Business Development: Identify and develop new customers in targeted international markets (Europe, USA, Middle East, Asia, etc.). Promote Harmony Organics' range of aroma chemicals to overseas clients and distributors. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned export sales targets and margins. Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies. Client & Distributor Management: Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, agents, and trading partners. Handle customer queries, pricing negotiations, and product documentation efficiently. Regulatory & Commercial Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade laws, INCOTERMS, export documentation, and payment terms (LC/Advance). Coordinate with logistics for timely and accurate shipments. Market Intelligence: Monitor global market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Suggest product positioning and pricing improvements for each market. Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with production, QA, dispatch, and accounts teams to fulfill export orders. Prepare and share sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and MIS with management. Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. / B.Tech / M.Sc. in Chemistry or related field preferred MBA in International Business or Marketing is an advantage Mandatory experience in export sales of aroma chemicals 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in B2B exports Key Skills: Excellent knowledge of international trade, documentation, and compliance Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills Ability to travel internationally for exhibitions and client meetings Proficiency in export documentation, CRM, and MS Office tools Goal-oriented and self-motivated
