Ecolab is searching for a driven Manager - RTR for our Finance Operations division in Pune, India.

Ecolab is seeking a Manager RTR to join our Global RTR process team.

This is a key role responsible for leading and coordinating the accounting process pertaining to Fixed Assets and Banking across the global operations of the company.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible to contribute to achieve the RTR Accounting implementation project timelines defined by the company.
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Manage the operational activities of the department to include staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals.
  • Coordinate the activities of team members.
  • Ensuring KPIs are continuously tracked and maintained
  • Drive a strong performance culture with the team
  • Coaching and training of team members.
  • Manage team resources (leaves, vacations, attrition, hiring, etc).
  • Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.
  • Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.
  • Set up goals and discuss performances with team members.
  • Work on succession plans (detect potential candidates and develop strategies).
  • Responsible of preparation / review of the Key Performance Metrics (KPIs).
  • Responsible to keep up to date the SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Detect improvement opportunities to trigger off new projects or efficiency opportunities.
  • Participate and/or coordinate writing, updating and defining desktop procedures, Policies and Narratives.
  • Support knowledge management activities by identifying and updating knowledge as requested and required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting or finance and 10-12 or more years of significant work experience with at least 3-4 years experience of managing large teams.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (i.e Sox)
  • Knowledge of SAP (GL, CO, BI) and clear understanding of payroll and financial accounting processes, incl. US GAAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word and Outlook software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.

  • Knowledge of Process Improvement tools (i.e. LSS)
