The Regulatory Affairs & Advocacy is responsible for driving regulatory initiatives, advocating for product compliance. This role acts as a strategic bridge between Regulatory Affairs, and different teams to ensure that our products align with regulatory standards, and are strategically positioned for market success. The individual in this role will play a critical part in supporting the business objectives by aligning internal stakeholders, mitigating regulatory risks, and enabling effective go-to-market strategies. In this role you will:
• Prepare, compile, and submit the regulatory dossiers in compliance with local and international standards, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Field Team) to gather necessary technical documents, data, and studies required for regulatory submissions. • Review and analyze scientific data and technical documentation to ensure regulatory compliance, quality, and efficacy of products before submission. • Maintain a comprehensive database of regulatory submissions, approvals, renewals, and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. • Engage in active advocacy efforts by representing the company’s interests in industry associations, regulatory forums, and policy discussions to influence regulatory developments and policy changes. • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to stay informed about regulatory trends, updates, and potential policy shifts. • Develop and present data-driven policy recommendations that align with the company’s objectives, focusing on enabling a favorable regulatory environment for the business. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align advocacy strategies with business goals, ensuring that regulatory developments support market access and growth. • Coordinate with the Regulatory and Field Teams to ensure alignment on regulatory submissions, compliance protocols, and advocacy efforts. • Lead regular cross-functional meetings to ensure that R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Field Operations are aligned on compliance, dossier requirements, and licensing activities. • Prepare reports and updates on regulatory affairs, dossier progress, and policy advocacy efforts, and present these insights to the Head of Business and senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Agronomy, Biology, Regulatory Affairs, Business).
• 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, or product management, with a strong background in agriculture or related industries. • Proven track record in regulatory advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration. • Expertise in CIB guidelines with Biological regulatory knowledge, market knowledge, cropping pattern and business opportunities. • Networking skills with Govt and University officials. • Ability to pursue and meet the time lines for approvals. • Passion to work in entrepreneurial set-ups, creating / managing a business, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and working in a constantly evolving business environment • A desire to work in the impact space, with a passion to make the world a "better" place.
