Job Role

Key Responsibilities

Establish and implement quality systems (QA & QC) from the ground up for the greenfield facility.
Set up and commission laboratory infrastructure including selection of equipment, instruments, and QC protocols.
Define quality procedures in compliance with ISO, GMP, and regulatory standards applicable to specialty chemicals.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation systems, and ensure training of quality teams.
Collaborate with project, process, production, and EHS teams to ensure quality is embedded in every phase.
Support vendor qualification, raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product validation.
Handle audits—internal, customer, and regulatory—and ensure timely closure of observations and CAPA.
Interface with R&D, process development, and production for quality-related inputs during scale-up and commissioning.

Required Skills & Experience

10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in the chemical or specialty chemicals industry.
At least 3–5 years of involvement in greenfield project setups (preferred).
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, regulatory standards (ISO 9001, GMP, REACH, etc.), and quality systems.
Proven ability to build teams, labs, and systems from scratch.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
