1. Lead

   Regional QA/QC Teams:

   Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentorship to a team of QA/QC engineers across all project sites in the region.

2. Regional Quality Strategy:

   Develop and implement regional quality strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring process standardization and continuous improvement.

3. Performance Management:

   Drive performance management of QA/QC personnel. Set KRAs, evaluate performance, and implement skill-building/training initiatives.

4. Quality

   Culture:

   Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and proactive issue resolution within all stakeholders including PMC, Contractors, and internal teams.

Technical & Operational Responsibilities:

1. Quality Systems Implementation:

   Oversee implementation and adherence to SOPs, Method Statements, and Quality Plans across all projects. Initiate enhancements as needed.

2. Material & Equipment Oversight:

   Supervise approval and inspection of RMC plants, raw materials, and critical equipment. Ensure vendors and contractors meet organizational specifications.

3. Audit Management:

   Plan and lead internal technical and system audits. Coordinate with external audit agencies for project-level and regional quality assessments.

4. Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA):

   Ensure timely resolution of non-conformities by identifying root causes and driving effective corrective and preventive actions.

5. Project Quality Oversight:

   Review and approve Project Quality Plans, Concrete Mix Designs, lab setups, calibration protocols, and mock-ups across projects.

6. Quality Reporting:

   Analyze QA/QC reports from projects, consolidate key findings, and prepare monthly quality dashboards and reports for senior management.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management:

1. Cross-functional Coordination:

   Collaborate with Engineering Design, Contracts, Procurement, EHS, and Execution teams to align on technical specifications and quality benchmarks.

2. Vendor and PMC Management:

   Monitor the performance of third-party testing labs, PMC QA/QC teams, and consultants. Conduct periodic reviews and set service-level expectations.

3. Training & Development:

   Develop regional training calendars based on upcoming project activities. Conduct technical workshops and sessions in coordination with the Quality Head.

4. Recognition & Awards:

   Identify opportunities to showcase quality excellence by applying for national/international quality awards. Lead documentation and application efforts.

5. Industry Benchmarking:

   Stay abreast of latest quality standards, trends, and technologies in the construction industry. Recommend adoption of modern QC tools and equipment.

Key Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent technical knowledge of civil construction QA/QC practices
• Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders across functions and levels
• Expertise in audit, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Proficient in quality documentation, MIS, and reporting tools
• Strong knowledge of national and international construction codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, ASTM, ISO 9001)
