A leading automation company is hiring a Manager - Quality

• Position: Manager - QC

• Job Location

  : Hosur

• Qualification:

  BE Mech / Mechatronics or Diploma Mech / Mechatronics

• Experience:

  15 yrs for BE / 18 yrs for Diploma in the given relevant field mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and implement quality strategy aligned with business goals for SPM.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the organization.

Operational Oversight:

• Manage and monitor IQC, IPQC, OQC, FATP, and QA activities to ensure product compliance with internal and customer specifications.
• Ensure quality control during final assembly, functional testingto meet delivery and performance standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

Process & System Development:

• Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation in line with ISO and other relevant standards.
• Implement robust inspection and testing protocols for components, assemblies, and final machines.

Team Management:

• Build and mentor a high-performing quality team.
• Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.

Customer & Supplier Interface:

• Liaise with customers for quality-related concerns and audits.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality and resolve issues.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Monitor and report key quality metrics and trends.
• Present quality performance to senior management and recommend improvement initiatives.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Process knowledge complying to QMS

• Knowledge in Six Sigma, lean Mfg Concepts, Statistical analysis, SPCs, FMEA

• Working Knowledge on RCA, CAPA and Risk management

• Sound Manufacturing background
• Depth in Machining, Surface Treatment and Heat Treatment processes
• Problem solving tools (7QC, 8D concepts)
• Exposure to Global Packing Procedures and Compliance
