Job Description

Role is based in Bandra, Mumbai

Extensive experience in BOQ, Tendering and creating Work/Purchase Orders.
Market research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier's reputation and history.
Analysis of price proposals and other data and information to determine competitive prices
Exposure in drawing out rate analysis details
Responsible for vendor management and smooth transition to project stage
Follow up with vendors / suppliers for timely material delivery.
Follow up with Accounts department for vendor / supplier payments.
Maintaining and monitoring procurement MIS and reports
Experience in vendor negotiations for different categories of procurements (includes Civil, MEP, finishes etc.)
Experience in handling large value procurements

Other aspects:

Knowledge of SAP/Ariba will be an added advantage
Good communication skills
Inclination to learn/unlearn
Effective team management
Effective stakeholder management
Good knowledge of MS packages (Excel, PPT etc)
Awareness of current trends in procurement
Bringing in process efficiencies, value adds and industry best practices
