Job Title: Purchase Manager

• A Centralized Purchasing job in the automotive industry focuses on strategically sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of goods such as electricals parts, welding related part, mechanical parts, oils, gas & chemical items and services as evaluation of mechanical job work, yearly service contracts for the entire organization, with a primary goal of controlling pricing and optimizing costs. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, supply chain dynamics, and negotiation techniques to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency
• Strategic Sourcing:

Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for consumable parts, equipment, and services.

• Negotiation and Contract Management:

Negotiate pricing for regular / repeated items and make contracts terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
Make comparison sheet considering all components as cost, quality & delivery and submit to higher authority for approval as L1.

• Supplier Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Cost Analysis and Control:

Conduct market research, analyse pricing data, and develop strategies to control costs and optimize purchasing spend.

• Inventory Management:

Develop and manage inventory levels monitoring mechanism, coordinate with internal teams to maintain adequate stock while minimizing excess, and ensure timely supply chain operations.

• Compliance and Policy:

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.

• Team Leadership:

In some cases, this role may involve leading and managing a team of buyers at all plant level and educate to them about procurement policies.

• Reporting and Analysis:

Qualifications:
