Client is the apex industry body representing the interests and growth of India’s power sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in PR/media roles within the renewable energy or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in managing corporate social media channels and digital content platforms.
• Strong editorial and copy writing skills with an eye for detail.
• Experience with newsletter creation and magazine production.
• Demonstrated experience managing PR/media for major events..
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to be based in Chennai and travel for key events as required.
o Develop and circulate a professional, visually appealing monthly newsletter focused on trends, news, and updates relevant to the wind energy sector.
o Coordinate with industry experts, members, and editorial contributors for content development.
o Plan, curate, edit, and oversee bi-monthly magazine production featuring high quality articles, interviews, and insights from leading wind turbine and component manufacturers.
o Ensure the magazine represents the latest advancements and best practices in the industry.
o Cultivate strong relationships with media houses, journalists, and relevant publications.
o Draft and disseminate press releases, event coverage, and opinion pieces to mainstream and industry media.
