Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage the entire operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in foundry / casting operations, production planning, process optimization, manpower handling, and plant administration, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and safety.

Oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring daily production targets are met.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, TPM, 5S).
Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Optimize manpower utilization and foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
Coordinate with senior management for budget planning, capex, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular operational reports.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of foundry processes and technologies.
Expertise in production planning, process improvement, and quality management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering (or equivalent).
MBA / PGDBM (preferred but not mandatory).
