As a Plant Head in Automotive Plastic Injection Molding at Radiant Innovative Manufacturing Limited, located in Chennai (Sriperumbudur), your role will involve providing strategic direction and leadership to the plant operations team. You will align operational strategies with company objectives for long-term growth and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation while ensuring adherence to quality standards (ISO/TS 16949), safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic direction and leadership to the plant operations team - Align operational strategies with company objectives for long-term growth - Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence - Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation - Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance - Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste - Optimize procurement, inventory management, and logistics - Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for seamless material flow - Enhance supply chain transparency and responsiveness - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth - Promote a positive and inclusive work environment - Monitor key operational and financial metrics for cost savings and efficiency - Develop and manage operational budgets with strong cost control - Identify and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - 20+ years of experience in the field Skills & Competencies: - Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Strong knowledge of automotive plastic injection molding processes - Proficiency in ERP systems, manufacturing software, and MS Office Suite - Expertise in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and quality assurance - Strong leadership and communication skills to engage teams at all levels If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply by sending an email to vikash.singh@radiantiml.com.
