Serve as the highest-ranking administrator on-site during non-business hours.
Act as the primary point of contact for all operational, staffing, patient care, and
facility issues during the assigned shift. Ensure patient safety and service quality across all units. Collaborate with clinical and support staff to resolve conflicts or urgent concerns. Support nursing supervisors and department leads in patient flow management,including admissions, transfers, and discharges. Coordinate emergency response procedures (e.g., codes, evacuations, criticalincidents). Document all significant events, incidents, and decisions made during the shift in aMOD report/log. Communicate critical issues to senior leadership or department heads when necessary. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Provide support and guidance to patients and families as needed, addressingcomplaints or concerns. Ensure that environmental issues (e.g., safety hazards, facility maintenance) arereported and escalated appropriately.
