Responsibilities -

Underwriting Operations:

• Review and assess residential mortgage loan applications (1-4 family).
• Analyze income (Wage, Self-employed, Rental), assets, liabilities, credit, and collateral.
• Ensure compliance with agency guidelines and internal lender standards.
• Assess property documentation title commitments, insurance, flood determinations, etc.
• Manage loan risk evaluations and support fraud detection and resolution.

Transactional Quality:

• Drive

  continuous improvement

  for transaction quality and client delivery.
• Lead

  client KPIs, SLA/SLO reporting

  , and compliance initiatives.
• Strengthen

  quality management frameworks

  and audit preparedness.
• Drive

  process control

  , compliance, and performance metrics.
• Conduct

  floor feedback, refreshers, training

  , and support for new hire quality assessment.
• Collaborate with Quality & Compliance teams for ongoing audits and follow-ups.
• Deliver

  data-driven insights

  , and communicate with stakeholders effectively.

Requirements -

• Minimum

  8 years of experience

  in US Mortgage Underwriting with team management.
• Strong expertise in the

  4 Cs of underwriting

  : Credit, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral.

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

  is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of

  agency underwriting systems

  and industry regulations.
• Prior experience in

  Transactional Quality management

  in BFSI/BPO setup.
• Proficiency in

  quality systems, root cause analysis, and audit tracking

  .
• Excellent

  communication, analytical, and leadership skills

  .
• Flexible to work in a

  24x7 rotational shift

  environment.
