**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As Manager Legal & Compliance at REA India, your role will involve conducting thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues and matters. You will be responsible for staying updated with changes in laws and regulations that impact the company's business and operations. Additionally, you will handle litigation, draft and review contracts and agreements, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and provide legal guidance on supplier agreements and vendor relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues and matters. - Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations impacting the company's business. - Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance. - Handle litigation, including drafting legal notices and replies, and coordinate with external lawyers. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. - Collaborate with the Procurement team to provide legal guidance on supplier agreements and vendor relationships. - Ensure the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal policies and procedures. - Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. - Conduct regular risk assessments and audits. - Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors. - Handle secretarial work and related compliances. - Provide guidance to stakeholders on compliance requirements for the business. - Develop and deliver training programs for employees on legal and compliance matters. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA & LLB) degree from a recognized institution. - Minimum 6 to 9 years of legal experience. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proactive and solution-oriented approach. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Professional certifications or memberships in legal associations related to fintech and compliance (desirable).
