Additionally, you will handle litigation, draft and review contracts and agreements, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and provide legal guidance on supplier agreements and vendor relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues and matters. - Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations impacting the company's business. - Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance. - Handle litigation, including drafting legal notices and replies, and coordinate with external lawyers. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. - Collaborate with the Procurement team to provide legal guidance on supplier agreements and vendor relationships. - Ensure the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal policies and procedures. - Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. - Conduct regular risk assessments and audits. - Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors. - Handle secretarial work and related compliances. - Provide guidance to stakeholders on compliance requirements for the business. - Develop and deliver training programs for employees on legal and compliance matters. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA & LLB) degree from a recognized institution. - Minimum 6 to 9 years of legal experience. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proactive and solution-oriented approach. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Professional certifications or memberships in legal associations related to fintech and compliance (desirable).
